Coca Cola 600: Race Time, lineup, TV schedule
CONCORD, N.C. — NASCAR Race Day at Charlotte Motor Speedway, The Coca-Cola 600 is “the real thing” that marks the official beginning of summer.This year, the action kicks off on Sunday, May 29, 2016 airing on FOX Television at 6:00 PM ET for the 56th running of the Coca Cola 600.
START TIME: J.D. Crouch II, president of the USO military service organization, and Dawn Self, wife of Marine Silver Star winner Andrew Self, are scheduled to instruct drivers to start their engines at 6:00 p.m. ET today. If you want to skip the pre-race show and just tune in for the race, turn on your TV at 6:00 p.m. for the green flag.http://cocacola600live.xyz/
RACE DISTANCE: The Coca-Cola 600, the longest race of the Sprint Cup season, is 400 laps around the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway for a total of 600 miles.
TV/RADIO SCHEDULE: Fox will broadcast today’s race. The pre-race show will be on Fox at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Performance Racing Network (PRN) will call the race on the radio.
WEATHER: Temperature is expected to be in the high 70s at race time, and there is very little chance of rain. Source
